Former Oasis megastar Noel Gallagher is the latest name to be confirmed for this year’s Singapore Grand Prix. The Englishman will be joining the likes of Katy Perry and Maroon 5 to help mark the country’s fifth Formula 1 night race this September.
On Tuesday night, the 2011 Singapore Grand Prix was crowned ‘Best Sport Event of the Year (International)’ at the Singapore Sports Awards. Furthermore, organisers have today announced that half of this year’s race tickets have already been sold.
The concert line-up is as follow follows: Katy Perry, Maroon 5, Jay Chou, Bananarama, Pretenders and The Proclaimers, plus Gallagher who joins the fray with his new High Flying Birds guise, but will also be singing a number of his classic Oasis hits.
