De la Rosa optimistic about second home race
24 June 2012 – This afternoon’s European Grand Prix will be a second home race of 2012 for Pedro de la Rosa, who may live in Munich but hails from Barcelona. Heading into the 57 laps, he is again delighted that HRT has out-qualified both Marussia cars.
“As for the race, we don’t really know what will happen. All the new brake ducts which we brought to this race got damaged in the crash and now we won’t be able to use them, so we will be going to the limit but, as always - and even more so racing at home - we will give everything so that our fans can be proud.”
Thesan Capital-owned HRT has now relocated all of its facilities to Madrid, having previously built its cars in Germany but had its administrative capacity in Murcia.
