Timo Glock will decide on Sunday morning whether or not he intends to race in the European Grand Prix. Having arrived in Valencia with a stomach bug, the German took part in final practice but skipped Saturday’s qualifying session.
"We won’t be able to reach any conclusions regarding the race until tomorrow morning, so we wish Timo well,” says Team Principal John Booth. “Our objective for tomorrow’s race, whatever it may hold, will simply be to do the best job possible in the circumstances.”
Formula 1 governing body the FIA has already granted Glock - who holds the Valencia lap record from 2009 - special dispensation to take part in Sunday's race, should he be well enough to do so.
