Rosberg to drive at Goodwood Festival
26 June 2012 – Chinese Grand Prix winner Nico Rosberg will visit this weekend's Goodwood Festival of Speed in Sussex. The event is one of the highlights of the motorsport calendar thanks to its classic motorsport feel, numerous fans and closeness of the cars.
Rosberg will be driving up the hill for Mercedes Grand Prix on Sunday, while on Saturday former Red Bull test driver Brendon Hartley will get behind the wheel.
Hartley, who has helped the team with simulator work for the last year, commented: "It will be a fantastic experience to not only drive up the hill at Goodwood for the first time, but also to have my first taste of the Mercedes F1 car! I have worked with the team closely developing their car, but driving the real thing will be a treat. I cannot wait!"
This year's running of the Goodwood Festival of Speed takes place from Thursday 28 June until Sunday 1 July, with a host of Formula 1 stars and machinery on show.
