Williams, HRT and Marussia have all embarked upon a two-day Young Driver Test at Silverstone this morning, with the trio opting not to travel to Abu Dhabi's Yas Marina Circuit for the now traditional post-season gathering later this year.

Valtteri Bottas is in action for Williams for the duration of the test, gaining significant mileage to coincide with his Friday practice duties. It is a similar story at HRT, with Ma Qing Hua set for a full day of running. The 24-year-old is getting his first taste of a Formula 1 car, having won the China Touring Car Championship last season.

At Marussia, testing duties will be split between Carlin GP2 drivers Max Chilton and Rio Haryanto. Chilton, who currently sits fifth in the standings with two podium results, gets the team underway before handing over to Haryanto this afternoon. The latter will be back in the cockpit tomorrow morning, before Chilton concludes the test.
