Valencia to host 20th Ferrari World Finals

Valencia to host 20th Ferrari World Finals

3 August 2012

The Ricardo Tormo circuit on the outskirts of Valencia has been selected as the location for this year’s Ferrari World Finals, which will mark two decades of the event. The Tifosi hope it will also host celebrations for a third Formula 1 world title for Fernando Alonso.

This year will not be the first time the Finals have been staged at the Cheste-based venue, as it also hosted the event in 2009 and 2010. On other occasions since 1992, Italian tracks Monza, Mugello, Misano and Vallelunga have been the setting.

For 2012, a demonstration run from a Formula 1 car will provide the day’s highlight, with other action including the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli. A selection of classic cars will also be on display, prepared by Maranello’s F1 Clienti Department.

The event will be staged between Thursday 29 November and Sunday 2 December.
