A selection of Lotus vehicles will be on show and in action on-track at this weekend’s Brands Hatch Festival. These will include the Elise two-seater sports car, the Exige S, the Evora, the T125 and a quartet of former Formula 1 racers.
The high-speed demos will take place from 1:20pm local time (BST) on Sunday, with crowds expected to enjoy the T125 in particular. Just 25 of the cars will be constructed, consisting of a 3.5-litre Cosworth V8 engine which delivers 640 brake horsepower.
The F1 cars in action will include the legendary 49 which was introduced in 1967, later launching sponsorship and the use of wings in the sport. Also on-track will be the 97T which took Ayrton Senna to a career-first victory in the 1985 Portuguese Grand Prix. One of the drivers will be Northern Ireland's Martin Donnelly, who raced in 13 F1 events.
The stands of Lotus Cars and Lotus Racing will be located opposite the Brabham/Stewart Hospitality suites which line the start/finish straight of the Kent circuit.
