Pastor Maldonado has been docked three grid positions for blocking Nico Hülkenberg during qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix. His Williams drops from third to sixth place.
Stewards announced during the session that an incident was under investigation by adjudicators including ex Grand Prix driver Eliseo Salazar.
Almost two and a half hours after Q3 finished, it was confirmed that Maldonado had delayed Hülkenberg – who qualified 12th – at the Bus Stop Chicane.
