Maldonado delighted with Williams improvement
22 September 2012 – Lewis Hamilton will share the front row of Sunday’s Singapore Grand Prix with Pastor Maldonado, who has achieved his and Williams’ second front row start of 2012. The Venezuelan now aims to score for the first time since winning in Barcelona.
“We were working very hard because at the beginning of the weekend we didn’t really have the setup,” Maldonado commented. “We improved in qualifying, adapting the car to my style and it was very well balance, especially in Q2 and Q3. I’m really looking forward to the race because we are showing very good pace and consistency.”
Team-mate Bruno Senna starts 17th after crashing in Q2.
