Senna handed five-place grid penalty
Bruno Senna has been given a five-place grid penalty for Sunday night's Singapore Grand Prix, having been forced to change his gearbox unit after qualifying.
The Brazilian was a Q2 eliminee on Saturday, hitting the wall on the exit of Turn 21 in dramatic fashion. The subsequent damage to his right-rear suspension was enough to require a change and incur the grid drop, which sees him start from 22nd place.
On the other side of the Williams garage, Pastor Maldonado qualified second fastest. The Venezuelan is aiming for his first points finish since the Spanish Grand Prix.
