Daniel Juncadella, the newly-crowned Formula 3 Euro Series Champion, will be testing a Ferrari Formula 1 car at Vallelunga next month. The Spaniard picked up the F3 Euro crown at Hockenheim last weekend and is also now set for a GP2 test.
The GP2 outing will come with Rapax at the Circuit de Catalunya next week, whereas the Ferrari drive will be happening on Friday 9 November.
“I'm very excited about the GP2 test,” says the Catalan. “It seems a very powerful car with which I can prepare myself for future events in my career. Luckily that first test is happening at my home circuit which I know very well, so I can concentrate on learning as much as possible.”
Juncadella, winner of the 2011 Macau Grand Prix, claimed this year’s Euro Series title for Prema with six race victories, six pole positions and five podium finishes to his name. He is the nephew of HRT F1 Team Principal Luis Pérez-Sala.
