‘No comment’ was the most Nico Hülkenberg could utter on Thursday when quizzed over the possibilities of moving to Sauber in 2013. The German is all but confirmed to be racing for the Swiss outfit next season, thus moving out of Force India.

The general paddock feeling is that Jaime Alguersuari will be joining either Force India or Sauber, with Hülkenberg jumping ship to the Swiss outfit. Aware of the gossip, ex Williams driver Hülkenberg decided that staying quiet was the best option.

“No comment,” the German replied when asked if his 2013 plans were in place. “I know there’s lots of speculation about my future but I don’t really want to comment on speculation at the moment. I just want to focus on this weekend.”

Kamui Kobayashi is expected to remain at Sauber, but only if the Japanese driver is able to generate enough funds in the form of new sponsorship deals.
