David Coulthard took the the streets of Chilean capital Santiago on Sunday afternoon, completing high speed runs and a series of donuts in front of 60,000 spectators. The Scot, who raced for the team between 2005 and 2008, thoroughly enjoyed the event.
"Down the years I’ve been involved in more show car events than I can remember, they’re always special but it’s safe to say that this weekend Chile has made a huge impression on me," Coulthard explained after the event.
"The welcome we’ve received has been absolutely amazing, the support for the event has been astonishing and I think the crowd actually drowned out the sound of my engine – which takes some doing. It’s been fabulous driving the RB7 around the streets of Santiago."
Red Bull has visited the United States, Poland, Denmark and South Korea for a range of promotional activities and demonstration runs in recent months.
