Formula 1's Romain Grosjean and current Race of Champions title holder Sébastien Ogier will form Team France for the 2012 event in Bangkok. The Lotus driver and his WRC counterpart join a star-studded field of drivers and riders including Sebastian Vettel, Michael Schumacher, Ryan Hunter-Reay, Jorge Lorenzo and Mick Doohan.
"The Race Of Champions is special and I’m proud to be in the line-up again alongside such big names from so many different areas of motor sport," Grosjean said of the annual event. "It’s a great show seeing these guys driving all the cars to the limit and I hope Team France can achieve something too.
"Sébastien did a fantastic job to win the individual event last year and it was a pity we were knocked out in the Nations Cup semi-finals. We will aim to go a bit further this time but the main thing is to have fun and to put on a show for the crowds."
This year's contest takes place from December 14-16 at the Rajamangala Stadium, with the Nations Cup going ahead on Saturday and the individual event on Sunday.
