McLaren to launch new car on January 31

McLaren has announced that it will launch its 2013 challenger on Thursday January 31, with the MP4-28 chassis set to be officially unveiled in the UK.

The team, which finished third in the 2012 Constructors' standings with seven race victories to its name, has not yet named a specific location for the presentation.

Next year, Jenson Button and Sergio Pérez will form the team's driver line-up. Lewis Hamilton has departed to Mercedes after six seasons racing for the outfit.
