The Observation Tower at the Circuit of The Americas has been revealed as one of 50 nominations for the American-Architects 'Building of the Year' award. The structure was designed by Miró Rivera Architects and is situated on the inside of Turn 17.
Standing at 251-feet tall, the tower offers a stunning panoramic view of the circuit and can hold up to 75 people on its dedicated viewing platform. It was one of the most talked-about features of the all-new circuit which hosted its maiden race in 2012.
The 3.4-mile (5.5-km) Austin-based venue, devised by Hermann Tilke, welcomed the Formula 1 fraternity back to America after a five-year absence from the calendar.
You can vote for the COTA tower at the American-Architects website until 28 January.
