Ferrari has denied claims that it has already selected a launch date for its 2013 car, describing reports in the Italian media as nothing more than rumours. On Monday, a team spokesperson confirmed to GPUpdate.net that a decision is yet to be made.
"We will make an announcement when the date is decided," the spokesperson told GPUpdate.net, responding to the alleged launch date of Saturday 2 February.
Ferrari presented its 2012 car on its official website, having been forced to cancel a shakedown day at Maranello due to heavy snow. The team is expected to announce a launch date for its new car at the annual Wrooom event which begins on Sunday.
