Sergio Pérez made his first public appearance for McLaren on Wednesday. The Mexican, joining from Sauber on a 'multi-year' agreement, arrived at the outfit's factory in Woking to meet staff members and undertake various media activities.
Pérez was signed as Lewis Hamilton's replacement when the latter confirmed his Mercedes switch last year, having picked up three podium finishes in his second full season. The 22-year-old, who was greeted by Team Principal Martin Whitmarsh at the McLaren Technology Centre earlier today, will race alongside Jenson Button in 2013.
Pérez will also take part in a Google+ Hangout with fans this afternoon. The video conference, starting at 4.30pm, will be streamed live on the team's official page.
