Susie Wolff to stay at Williams in 2013

21 January 2013

Susie Wolff has pledged her commitment to Williams, following Monday's news that husband Toto is to leave the outfit and become Mercedes-Benz's new Executive Director. The Scot, who has raced in the DTM championship for six years, says she will not be switching allegiance and will retain her development role with the team.

"Just to clarify, I am a proud member of the Williams F1 Team," 30-year-old Wolff explained via Twitter on Monday afternoon. "There was never any question of me leaving. Very happy for my husband, we will be fighting him hard on track!"

Wolff joined Grove-based Williams in April 2012, completing simulator and promotional work for the squad. She experienced her first outing in a Formula 1 car at Silverstone last September, driving the team's FW33 chassis during a Partner Day.
