Ex-Formula 1 driver Nick Heidfeld has been confirmed at Rebellion Racing for 2013. The Swiss LMP1 outfit will compete in the American Le Mans Series, the FIA World Endurance Championship and the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans this year.
Heidfeld contested a small number of races for Rebellion in 2012, including the Le Mans event with Neel Jani and Nicolas Prost. The trio finished fourth in a Toyota-powered Lola B12/60 coupe, the same car being fielded for the upcoming season.
In 2013, Heidfeld will again be joined by Jani and Prost, while Andrea Belicchi, Mathias Beche and Cong Fu Cheng have also secured places in the overall line-up.
