Ex-Formula 1 World Champion Jacques Villeneuve has been revealed as a pundit for Sky Italia. The 41-year-old made a one-off appearance for British variant Sky Sports at the 2012 Canadian Grand Prix, but will now be giving his views on a full-time basis.
"It's something new for me," said Villeneuve. "At home, I was sometimes angry with the commentators for saying the wrong things. I will not mix my words; I can bring my experience as a former Formula 1 driver and maybe say some interesting things."
Villeneuve was active in Formula 1 from 1996-2006, driving for Williams, BAR, Renault and Sauber respectively. In 1997, he won the world title with Williams-Renault.
