Dutch driver Giedo van der Garde will join Frenchman Charles Pic at Caterham for the 2013 Formula 1 campaign, a source close to GPUpdate.net has confirmed.
The 27-year-old will step up from GP2 with the Leafield-based team, with his Formula 1 race debut set to come on the streets of Melbourne. Having completed a number of free practice sessions for the Leafield-based outfit in 2012, he will be the fourth rookie on the grid this year along with Esteban Gutiérrez, Valtteri Bottas and Max Chilton.
Force India and Marussia are now the only teams yet to announce their full line-ups.
