Paul di Resta completed his first run in Sahara Force India's new VJM06 at a wet Silverstone circuit on Friday morning, shortly after the car was launched in the pit lane.
The Scotsman, who is entering his third season with the team, conducted an installation lap at around 11.45, before heading back out for a full lap in the afternoon.
Di Resta will get a full feeling for the VJM06 at Jerez next week, when he kicks off Force India's testing programme on 5 February. His team-mate, who is expected to be Jules Bianchi, will be announced before the second pre-season test in Barcelona.
