Sauber has unveiled its 2013 challenger to the public, with a special presentation of the C32 chassis taking place at the team's factory in Hinwil. It is the first car to be launched under the sole leadership of Team Principal Monisha Kaltenborn.

The two most notable changes to the team's latest design occur on the nose and sidepods areas. Although not completely, Sauber has hidden the step nose by adding two neat ridges, while the sidepods have been streamlined to extract further performance; this is a trend which has been seen at previous launches this year.

In addition to the design differences from its C31 predecessor, the new Sauber features a heavily-revised livery. The paint job is now predominantly made up of grey, with splashes of red and white to reflect the team's traditional colours.

In 2013, Nico Hülkenberg and Esteban Gutiérrez form Sauber's line-up. Dutchman Robin Frijns, who beat Jules Bianchi to the the Formula Renault 3.5 title last season, will travel to every race and act as the team's official test and reserve driver.
