Rossiter to test for Force India at Jerez

3 February 2013

Sahara Force India development driver James Rossiter is set test Sahara Force India's new VJM06 chassis at the opening pre-season test at Jerez next week.

Rossiter, who has previously tested for BAR, Honda and Super Aguri, will drive the VJM06 with the intention of finding a realistic comparison between the real car and its simulated version, which the Briton will be completing work on for the rest of the year.

The duration of Rossiter's test outing has not been confirmed. Paul di Resta, whose team-mate is yet to be announced, will complete the majority of the team's running.

At Ferrari, newly-signed development pilot Pedro de la Rosa will be completing a similar task, gathering data for the Maranello-based team's simulator on 8 February.
