Williams announces technical changes
4 February 2013 – Williams has announced a technical reshuffle ahead of the 2013 season, with Xevi Pujolar moving up to the position of Chief Race Engineer. The Spaniard has worked directly with Pastor Maldonado since 2011, but will hand over the role to Andrew Murdoch, while Jonathan Eddolls becomes the Race Engineer of Valtteri Bottas.
"Jonathan and Andrew have been key members of our race operations team for a number of years and this experience will prove valuable as they step up to Race Engineer. We made good progress in 2012 and will be looking to achieve further success in 2013."
Williams will bring its 2012 car to the opening pre-season test at Jerez this week, with Maldonado completing the first two days before handing over to Bottas. The team will not launch its new car until the second gathering in Barcelona on 19 February.
