Michael Schumacher will be back in action at a karting event in Italy this weekend, with the seven-time Formula 1 World Champion entering a round of the WSK Euro Series.
Schumacher, who is racing for the acclaimed Tony Kart squad, will contest the KZ1 category at the La Conca International Circuit near Lecce. The German is part of a five-strong team which includes reigning KF1 World Champion Flavio Camponeschi.
Among Schumacher's rivals over the course of the weekend will be 15-year-old rising star Max Verstappen, the son of former F1 adversary and Benetton team-mate Jos.
