De la Rosa joins Spanish television coverage

7 March 2013

Ferrari development driver Pedro de la Rosa has joined Spanish broadcaster Antena 3's television coverage for the 2013 Formula 1 campaign. The 42-year-old, who was forced out of a race seat last season, will serve as a co-commentator and analyst.

"I'm more prepared for driving than talking," de la Rosa explained during a press conference in Madrid. "I am also more nervous when I speak into a microphone than when I drive, but it is also very easy to work with this team at Antena 3."

María de Villota, who is steadily recovering from a life-threatening testing crash, and Ferrari's Marc Gené have also been confirmed as members of Antena 3's team.
