Massa performs F1 demo in Rio de Janeiro
11 March 2013 – Felipe Massa travelled to Rio de Janeiro to take part in the TNT Street Race last weekend, a free to watch event in the Aterro do Flamengo area of the city. The Brazilian, who is embarking upon his eighth Formula 1 campaign as a Ferrari driver, completed a series demonstration runs in the team’s dedicated show car.
"It’s a dream come true for me to drive a Ferrari Formula 1 car through the streets of the marvellous city of Rio de Janeiro," Massa said after his outing in the F10 chassis. "There can be no greater thrill than to drive the car with which I raced around the world, in my home country, on the streets in front of the fans who are always supporting me. And there can be no better place to host an event like this than Rio."
The show was organised by the Petrópolis Group, the brewery in charge of the TNT energy drink sported by Massa and team-mate Fernando Alonso at race weekends.
