Williams adopts special livery for 600th race
25 June 2013 – Williams will adopt a special car livery for the upcoming German Grand Prix at the Nürburgring, with the Grove-based outfit celebrating its 600th Formula 1 race.
Although Williams will make its 600th appearance at Silverstone this weekend, the milestone start is not due to be reached until the following round in Germany, due to all Michelin runners pulling out of 2005 United States Grand Prix at Indianapolis.
Pastor Maldonado and Valtteri Bottas' FW35s will feature the number 600 on both sidepods to mark the occasion, with the names of all 691 Williams employees, who work across all divisions of the Williams Group, also emblazoned on the livery.
During its 36-year run in the sport, Williams has achieved a total of 297 podiums, 114 race victories and 16 world titles, nine of which were Constructors' crowns.
