Di Resta: Lots to think about overnight
5 July 2013 – Force India driver Paul di Resta has admitted that he has "lots to think about" at the Nürburgring on Friday evening, with the Scot yet to feel comfortable with his set-up.
Di Resta, who has scored points in seven of this season's eight races despite failing to make it past the Q1 hurdle at the past three Grands Prix, finished tenth on the combined timesheets, 1.3 seconds adrift of pace-setter Sebastian Vettel.
"Quite a tricky session with lots to think about overnight," explained di Resta. "There’s room to improve the set-up because I’m not feeling as comfortable as I usually do.
"Tyre-wise we’ve done a lot of running across the two compounds to give us enough data to understand the impact of the new rear tyres. The two compounds are different extremes so we need to make sure we can get both in the right operating window."
Adrian Sutil wound up 11th in the sister Force India, 27 thousandths adrift of di Resta.
