GPUpdate readers back Räikkönen at Spa
21 August 2013 – Lotus driver Kimi Räikkönen has been tipped to win this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix, with 44 percent of voters in the latest GPUpdate.net poll backing the Finn.
Since joining the sport with Sauber in 2001, Räikkönen has claimed four victories at Spa-Francorchamps, the first two coming with McLaren and the most recent pair with Ferrari. Upon his comeback in 2012, the former World Champion finished third.
Lewis Hamilton has emerged as Räikkönen's biggest threat for the Ardennes event, with 22 percent predicting the Hungarian Grand Prix winner to triumph in Belgium for the second time. Fernando Alonso sits third in the list on a 15 percent share.
Sebastian Vettel (11 percent) and Mark Webber (four percent) follow, while three percent of readers believe a driver outside the top six in the standings will succeed.
