Readers tip Vettel for Singapore victory
18 September 2013 – Sebastian Vettel has been backed to claim victory at this weekend's Singapore Grand Prix, having secured a 27 percent share of the votes in the latest GPUpdate.net poll.
The Red Bull driver, bidding for a fourth successive world title, has won the past two races at the Marina Bay street venue, leading home Jenson Button on both occasions.
Chief title rival Fernando Alonso, who triumphed at the event in 2008 and 2010, placed second on 22 percent, with Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Räikkönen both on 21 percent.
Just three percent have backed Mark Webber and Nico Rosberg, with the same figure holding the belief that a driver outside the top six in the standings can take the win.
First practice in Singapore gets underway on Friday at 6pm local time (GMT +8)
