Warwick named as Singapore steward
18 September 2013 – Derek Warwick will make his 10th appearance as the FIA's driver representative steward at the forthcoming Singapore Grand Prix, having last taken up the role at Spa-Francorchamps.
Warwick made 146 appearances during a 13-year stint in the top echelon, turning out for Toleman, Renault, Brabham, Arrows and Lotus. His best points haul came in the 1984 season, where the Briton scored all four of his career podiums on his way to seventh in the Drivers' Championship.
Alongside his frequent stewarding duties, the 59-year-old has been President of the British Racing Drivers' Club since 2011.
