Todt launches FIA election campaign
7 October 2013 – Current FIA President Jean Todt has officially launched his campaign for re-election, the Frenchman outlining his hope that the process will be staged in a "constructive manner" and remains "respectful of both the federation and individuals alike."
Todt, who has held the governing body's chief post for one term, will face competition from David Ward in the upcoming election, which takes place on December 6.
"In the coming days we'll explain in more detail the key reforms we have introduced during the past 4 years," explained Todt via his official campaign website on Monday.
"Over the coming weeks, my team and I will outline our plans for a new term, and our strong desire to continue to move forward together with you as part of the FIA family."
