Williams confirms attendance for Jerez test
13 January 2014 – Williams has announced that its latest Formula 1 challenger will be ready in time for the opening pre-season test of the year, which takes place at the Circuito de Jerez later this month.
The Grove-based outfit joins Mercedes, McLaren and Caterham in confirming its attendance for the first gathering of the year, although it is yet to reveal when the FW36 will be officially unveiled to the public.
"Things are starting to get busy now as we enter FW36 car build week," the team posted on Twitter. "We'll be on track in Jerez in just over 2 weeks... and everyone is looking forward to getting going now!"
At present, Lotus is the only team to confirm that it will not be making the trip to Jerez, with its new car, entitled the E22, set to make its debut at the subsequent Bahrain tests.
