Renault showcases new V6 power unit
22 January 2014 – Renault has published a selection of images of its new turbocharged power unit, the Energy F1-2014.
The French manufacturer is one of three brands providing the Formula 1 grid with engines – alongside Mercedes and Ferrari – as the transition is made from V8 powerplants to the latest V6 turbocharged era.
For 2014, Renault has varying supply contracts with Red Bull, Lotus, Toro Rosso and Caterham.
