Marussia forced to delay MR03 debut
27 January 2014 – Marussia has been forced to delay the debut of its new Formula 1 challenger due to a technical glitch.
The Banbury-based outfit had planned to roll-out the MR03 chassis at the start of this week's Jerez test, but a problem that was uncovered during the final stages of the car's preparation has set its schedule back.
Instead of transporting the Ferrari-powered machine to the Spanish venue without a fix in place, the team has chosen to carry out work at the factory with a view to sending the car out for the end of the gathering.
For the first time in its history, Marussia has an unchanged line-up of Jules Bianchi and Max Chilton in 2014.
