McLaren mourns death of two workers
30 January 2014 – Two McLaren workers have been killed in a road accident outside the brand's headquarters in Woking.
The staff members, who have not yet been named, were based at the nearby McLaren Production Centre and worked for the group's sportscar division.
They were in a Subaru Impreza when it collided with a Ford Transit van on the A320 in Ottershaw on Wednesday evening. The driver of the van was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
"We are deeply saddened by yesterday's news," said the Woking-based team.
"Our thoughts & prayers are with the friends & family of our two colleagues."
