Di Resta, Hamilton resolve legal dispute
11 February 2014 – Paul di Resta and former manager Anthony Hamilton have resolved their legal dispute in an out of court settlement.
Hamilton, father of 2008 Formula 1 title winner Lewis, started proceedings after being sacked by ex-Force India driver di Resta, who has now returned to the DTM series after failing to secure an F1 seat for the 2014 season.
The disagreement surrounded a £4.6 million deal with energy drink company Go Fast, and whether a portion of the money related to di Resta's image rights was transferred to a Geneva account run by the Hamilton family.
At the same time, di Resta was accused of entrapment after the Scot admitted that he recorded a telephone conversation with a lawyer that was said to be involved in the aforementioned energy drinks agreement.
However, both men released statements earlier this week confirming that the dispute is now over.
