Red Bull officially appeals Ricciardo's exclusion
20 March 2014 – Red Bull has formally appealed to the FIA over Daniel Ricciardo's exclusion from the Australian Grand Prix. The champion outfit had until midday on Thursday to decide whether to continue with its case.
Ricciardo finished the season-opening race in second position but was later disqualified after the stewards ruled that his RB10 had consistently exceeded the fuel flow rate limit of 100kg/h throughout the Grand Prix.
Red Bull has denied that it broke the rules and says it used its own sensors because the FIA's were inaccurate.
The team's case will be heard by the International Court of Appeal at a yet to be confirmed date.
