Hamilton: No discussion with Rosberg
18 April 2014 – Lewis Hamilton has denied taking part in 'clear the air' talks with Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg.
Rosberg said in the run up to the Chinese Grand Prix that he planned to sit down with Hamilton to discuss their intense fight for victory at Sakhir, with the German questioning one of Hamilton's defensive manoeuvres.
"It's completely normal that as a team, when there are situations or races where a lot has happened and there are intense battles, you are going to sit down and discuss them," Rosberg explained on Shanghai's media day.
But after setting the standard during Friday practice, Hamilton said no such discussion had taken place.
"No," was Hamilton's plain response, before adding that "as far as I'm aware" all is well between the duo.
Rosberg heads into this weekend's race with an 11-point lead over Hamilton in the championship standings.
