Vettel looks to 'reset' at Spanish Grand Prix
8 May 2014 – Sebastian Vettel is aiming to "reset" at the Spanish Grand Prix, after a tough start to the season.
The Red Bull driver has reverted to the chassis he used throughout pre-season testing in Spain and Bahrain in an attempt to get to the bottom of his persistent troubles, and hopes progress can be made at coming races.
"We concluded after China, where we were quite a bit behind, to change the chassis. It's not a new chassis as we used it in winter testing, so we have some experience with it," said Vettel.
"We don't think that there was anything wrong with the old chassis, we just decided to change it.
"We want to try everything we can, reset and start again."
Vettel added that patience will be key as he attempts to return to the front of the grid.
"There's still a lot of work ahead of us," the reigning quadruple World Champion explained.
"As I mentioned, I'm maybe not as happy as I'd like to be. But lots has changed and I need to be patient."
