Teams prepared for Russian Grand Prix
10 May 2014 – F1 teams are prepared for the inaugural Russian Grand Prix, despite the country's political situation.
The World Superbike event scheduled to take place at Moscow Raceway in September has been called off as a result of the unrest, but Marussia chief John Booth says outfits will rely on government advice nearer the time.
"First of all, travel arrangements have been confirmed. There's a charter going from Japan to Sochi," said Booth.
"As to whether we go to Sochi or not, as with Bahrain over the last couple of years, we'll follow our [British] government guidelines on whether it's safe to travel or not, or whether we should go or not."
The first edition of the Russian Grand Prix is set to take place on the weekend of October 11-12.
