Grosjean hopeful of scoring first Lotus points
10 May 2014 – Romain Grosjean is aiming to score Lotus's first points of the 2014 season after his impressive Spanish Grand Prix qualifying performance.
While team-mate Pastor Maldonado crashed out in Q1, the Frenchman progressed to the final shootout and secured fifth on the grid.
"It's very positive for everybody in the team to be on the third row of the grid. It's where we want to be and there is certainly more to come," said Grosjean.
"The race should be interesting. It's difficult to overtake on this track and we'll be looking to save the tyres as much as possible in the first stint to see how far as we can go with them.
"We will see what we can achieve but it goes without saying that it would be good to finally score some points."
Sauber, Marussia and Caterham are the other teams yet to record a point so far this season.
