Brands Hatch to celebrate Brabham's life
20 May 2014 – The life and career of Sir Jack Brabham will be celebrated in a parade at Brands Hatch this Sunday.
As part of the Masters Historic Festival weekend, a selection of Brabham's single-seaters and sports cars will be showcased in memory of the three-time Formula 1 World Champion, who died aged 88 on Monday.
"Sir Jack Brabham was a hugely significant figure in motor racing, whose achievements can never be under-estimated," said Masters Historic Racing Event Manager Rachel Bailey.
"While Masters Historic Racing offers its condolences to the Brabham family, we would like to remember him by showcasing many of the cars that he created, raced and won with."
Brabham owners are also being contacted, to invite them and their machinery to join the tribute.
