Ericsson paying tribute to Peterson with helmet
22 May 2014 – Marcus Ericsson is using a special helmet in Monaco to pay tribute to fellow Swede Ronnie Peterson.
The Caterham driver has produced a copy of the design worn by Peterson during his Formula 1 career.
It is forty years since Peterson mastered the streets of Monte-Carlo to claim victory. He won 10 races in the top echelon, but tragically lost his life following a crash in the opening stages of the 1978 Italian Grand Prix.
