Massa: We aim to be more competitive
2 June 2014 – Felipe Massa has said the top speed of the Williams will be the teams 'main strength' this weekend in Canada.
Massa made the most of a 'risky' strategy to finish seventh in Monaco last time out – his third points finish of the year and also his third seventh place – and he is keen now to do better, although he knows the weather could play a pivotal role.
"We aim to be more competitive in Canada and hopefully we can have a good performance. The top speed of the car is good and this will be our main strength," he said.
"Montreal has hosted some great races in the past and this has a lot to do with the weather," he continued, "so we need to be prepared as it can rain and often without warning."
