Domenicali in no hurry to decide future
5 June 2014 – Former Ferrari Team Principal Stefano Domenicali has said he is in 'no hurry' to decide his future, although he does have 'several very interesting options'.
Domenicali resigned as Team Principal back in April after the Scuderia endured a difficult start to the 2014 Formula 1 season - to date the team has taken just one podium this year, with Fernando Alonso coming home third in China.
"After such an amazing and long time with Ferrari, I am taking time out," the 49-year-old told Spanish sports newspaper, Marca.
"I am trying to disconnect from the world of F1. It was an extraordinary experience and I will always support Ferrari - always. And Fernando.
"I have several very interesting options. But I am in no hurry [to make a decision about my future]. I have to think about it and then choose the best option."
Asked what that might be, he replied: "Anything is possible. It is still too early to say."
