Frijns to demo Caterham F1 car in Russia
13 June 2014 – Caterham reserve driver Robin Frijns will showcase a Formula 1 car in Kazan, Russia this weekend.
The Dutchman, 22, is scheduled to get behind the wheel of the outfit's T127 chassis – used throughout the 2010 campaign – as part of the Kazan City Racing event, taking place in the capital of Tatarstan on June 15.
"I'm really looking forward to taking part in Kazan City Racing," Frijns explained ahead of the demonstration.
"I'm sure it'll be an amazing experience for the fans and for me as it'll be the first time I visit Russia. I think anyone would agree that being able to drive an F1 car on the streets of Kazan on my first time in Russia is pretty cool!"
Also attending the event will be Vitaly Petrov, who previously raced in Formula 1 for Renault and Caterham.
